Predictive Policing: Leveraging Data and Analytics to Make Smarter Decisions
Officer Matthew D. Barter will share how his department uses predictive modeling tools to enable a hot spot policing methodology that effectively deploys police resources to the right places at the right times. The solution references geospatial information to map the likelihood of crime based on a number of factors and shows when different areas of the city are "hottest" with crime risk in a visual format so officers can proactively prevent incidents.
Dashboarding and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Law Enforcement
Learn why KPIs are relevant and needed in policing, as well as which ones are most important. In the wake of events like Ferguson, MO, we will review how Criminal Justice Reform allows agencies to spot trends before they become problems.
Networking Lunch
Analytics for the Decision Maker
Hear about the importance of data and analytics and how Ironsides' evidence based predictive policing solution model, Ironshield, has been able to provide police departments the tools and knowledge they need to anticipate criminal behavior and proactively prevent crime.
Intelligence Led Policing – The Era of the Analyst
In this session you will learn how analysts are leading the charge in identifying and apprehending prolific offenders. Join the discussion about how technology, sound practice, and good old fashioned policing are blending to allow for proactive policing, thanks to the art and science of crime analysis.
